Mountain Suite (title might change)
I am in the process of writing a suite for Wind Ensemble based on several hikes that I went on with my wife when on vacation in Colorado during the summer of 2017. The suite is going to be 3 movements long and currently the first and second are done and I'm working on the third. The first movement will be read by the Montclair Wind Ensemble on May 1st at their reading session.
Pitch Shift
Another piece I'm working on for grad school, Pitch Shift is a trio for Alto Saxophone, Bass Clarinet, and Marimba that explores very aggressive rhythms, harmonies, and in your face shifting tonal centers. The piece will be premiered at the Spring Composition Recital at Montclair State University on May 1st.
